Pentens Seal | Self Adhesive Rubberized Asphalt Tape

PENTENS SEAL is a flexible polymer-modified bituminous strip with a matt grey vinyl-coated aluminum foil facing. It is a flexible waterproofing seal in all conditions of exposure. PENTENS SEAL should not be used on unprotected traffic surfaces as they may be susceptible to damage, except for roof areas that are subject to occasional maintenance access only.

PENTENS SEAL is a general purpose sealing and flashing strip for weather resistance and waterproofing that is widely used in building construction and maintenance work. Available in a range of roll width from 50mm to 300mm. PENTENS SEAL consists of a self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen strip face with a matt grey vinyl finish aluminum foil. It adheres permanently to most building substrates and is easy to handle and shaped as required on site.
It is best used under these circumstances:

• Roof work, capping, guttering, sheet laps, vertical DPC for opening in brick and block work

• Flashings to fascia panels

• Protection to steel work

• Rear air seal to drained joint systems

• Airtight dust seal to concealed panel joints
